Control Structres in Java

 

The statements or code you write in your program normally get executed in a sequential manner, one after the other.

However, through a process called Transfer of Control we can ensure that the next statement is not necessarily the next one sequentially.

Transfter of Control can be achieved via Control Structures. Conrtol structures allow us define how and when certain statements will be met.

Here are some examples of Control structures:

  • Loops
  • If then statements.
  • Switch statements
